Privacy Policy

Meridiem is a world clock app for iPhone made by Alejandro Páez. This policy explains, in plain language, what happens to your information when you use it. The short version: nothing is collected, and nothing leaves your device.
We collect no personal data
Meridiem collects no personal data whatsoever. There is no account, no sign-in, no analytics SDK, no advertising SDK, and no crash reporting. The app has no backend and makes no network requests of any kind — it never talks to the internet.
What is stored on your device
The only thing Meridiem stores is the list of cities you choose to track, saved locally on your device using iOS's standard UserDefaults storage. That list is never transmitted anywhere, never leaves your device, and is deleted when you delete the app.
No location tracking
Meridiem does not use GPS or Location Services and never asks for location permission. Your own city — the one marked “You” — is determined purely from your iPhone's system time zone setting (Settings → General → Date & Time), not from your physical location.
No sharing, no selling, no third parties
Because nothing is collected, there is nothing to sell, share, or use for advertising. There are no third-party services, processors, or partners involved in the app at all.
Children
Meridiem is safe for all ages. Since no data is collected from anyone, no data is collected from children either.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated if the app's functionality changes, and the effective date above will be updated accordingly.
